Hello. I'm Dan Roddy

I'm an experienced training designer, learning technologist and classroom trainer based in Bristol, UK.

Since 2009 I have worked for a leading provider of healthcare support services training to the NHS and private companies, in the UK and worldwide.

I work with our team of associate SME tutors to design training materials and activities that deliver great experiences for our customers, both online and in the classroom, that are effective in improving performance and safety.

Things I do

• I co-run Ignite Bristol, an evening of quick fire talks for the interesting and interested.
• And I also co-run weelearning, an "elearning social" for people using technology in the learning place, with Sam Burrough.
• I am member with responsibility for IT on the Board of Governors at Hotwells Primary, our neighbourhood school in central Bristol, rated outstanding by Ofsted.
• For fun, I bike, run and swim, not necessarily in that order, in preparation for Portishead Sprint Tri and the Bristol 10K.
